Orphanage is a divine haven for Orphans and vulnerable children and widows, It is registered as a private home in Rivers State. Since inception on the 29th of January 2015, hundreds of children and widows have benefited from the 3-tier programme of the orphanage. Today, due to the government policies on private home, over twenty children with their nannies resides in home of the orphanage with over two hundred vulnerable children outside the home and about 100 widows outside the home.

Rehabilitation
The first objective is to take abandoned children off the streets and give them a befitting home. The lemu orphanage structurally is a divine haven in every measure. The children and babies are rehabilitated under the most conducive conditions with unconditional love and excellent care. Our vision is capital intensive because we initiate and build rehabilitation center. The hostel within the center is called "LEMU CHILDREN HOME" for orphans brought into the mission through a good Samaritans.

Reformation
This is done through Education and extra-curricular activities. Education is the best investment in children. The mission is determined to help the Lemu Orphans and Vulnerable Children as far as they want go in for their pursuit of academic excellence. All Lemu Children within the home and outside the home go to schools located around the orphanage. Presently we have many of them in secondary schools.

Our thoughts on the Widows
Lemu One of the greatest achievements is the impact on widows in our communities. Since its inception, Lemu Orphanage Home has joined more than 200 widows from various communities in Rivers State. Its aim is to empower and support widows in their businesses and provide the necessary things they need: Provision, food stuffs, wrapper, money, etc
The visionary Evang. Samuel Vopnu, in the last Widows Day tagged: SUPPORTING THE WIDOWS IN OUR SOCIETY In a statement said, it is his sincere desire to see the organization expand into helping widows across the state. He assured them that the organization will continue to bring them together every year to share more knowledge with them on how to improve their daily lives.
